President Lincoln once addressed a small town in Pennsylvania and said,” Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.” He gave this speech at the precipice of this nation’s greatest threat.
Almost one hundred years later, President Kennedy sat in the same position with the Cuban missile crisis and said, “My fellow citizens, let no one doubt that this is a difficult and dangerous effort on which we have set out. No one can foresee precisely what course it will take or what costs or casualties will be incurred. Many months of sacrifice and self-discipline lie ahead — months in which both our patience and our will will be tested, months in which many threats and denunciations will keep us aware of our dangers. But the greatest danger of all would be to do nothing.”
Fifty years later our generation sits in the presence of tyranny and oppression; oppression not from a foreign nation but from our own government. As Americans we must hold true to our values and our liberties. We must stand up when we are told to stand down, we must press the cause that we will no longer live under corporate control. No longer will we lie down and be beaten, sprayed and shot for standing up against oppression. No longer will we sit idly by and watch our government take away our god given rights as human beings. No longer will we sit and watch our soldiers sent off to distant lands to fight and die for corporate greed. No longer will we have our homes invaded by government officials for nothing more than accessing and using internet materials. No longer will we have our civil rights trampled upon.
It is our inherent right as human beings not just in the United States but around the world to have life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The time to act is now or all will be lost. I charge you anonymous; you claim to be our air force. Take control of the news the media, only let the occupies show. Let the world know what unjust and tyrannical actions are going on not just in the United States, but the world. To the occupiers on the streets; the infantry, when you are pushed, push back and when you are beaten, beat back. The time is now for if we do nothing your children and grandchildren will be laden with this burden, and by then it may be too late.
We are Anonymous.
